The 3rd annual fundraiser spaghetti dinner will be Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the American Legion Post 801. (Same place as last year). We hope to see as many people as can be to show support for our cause & our teens. As usual, there will be entertainment, plenty of food, drinks, 50/50's, door prizes, raffles & as much fun as the past dinners. As usual, we are always looking for volunteers to help plan, cook, serve or donate. Contact info: notthemaid64@yahoo.com, w/ fundraiser dinner in subject line please.
God Bless
We are also planning a huge concert fundraiser in tribute and support of our teens. We have several bands who are willing to donate their talents & time. We are working on a tentative date for the concert since the bands have a great distance to travel. This will most likely be in the warmer months of 2009 for the safety of the bands. We will keep our readers informed as the times get more set in stone.
God Bless!

Past:
November 5, 2008...BOCES of Broome/Tioga had another Teen Violence Awareness & Prevention day w/ myself (Lisa's mother) as the guest speaker. Several other area BOCES had requested to attend as well. This was a very emotional day for myself & all the teens who attended. I feel a tremendous impact was made in so many teens lives that day. Many tears were shed and the teens left in a daze. I received positive feedback from the instructors & counselors from BOCES as many teens sat with them and began to discuss their own issues. Thank God, Lisa did not die in vain.

Present:
We are now and will always be working on obtaining donations and grants to purchase a facility for teens in need of housing and or protection. The name of the facility will be "Lisa's house of hope". We will keep everyone informed of our progress. Sponsors & donations are urgently needed for the success of this goal!
God Bless!
