Donations

Sponsors urgently needed

The Lisa M. Tyler Memorial Scholarship Fund and endingteenviolence.com depends solely on donations from the public whether it be spaghetti dinners or routine fundraising with sales of our endingteenviolence.com bracelets.
100% of the monies go towards educating our teens of teen violence and enabling them the resources to get out of violent situations.
Yearly scholarships are given to graduating Cosmetology teens who have overcome violence themselves and who can show a positive stand on ending teen violence.
We are not for profit.
Our goal is to be able to have a loving home called "Lisa's house of hope" where runaway or abused teens can have a safe place to stay until they are stable enough to care for themselves.  This will be a long way down the road, the more donations, the shorter the road.
The Lisa M. Tyler Memorial Scholarship Fund & endingteenviolence.com is urgently in need of sponsorship.
It costs a great deal to keep our brochures available to the public, give out scholarships, maintain our website and to obtain our goal.
As Lisa's mom, I do also speak at local schools from a parent's point of view of loosing a daugther through teen violence and letting teens know how much they are loved.
Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring or know someone who is.

As a high school student how can I help 'end teen violence?'

Form your own support group for teens with peers by going to your school counselor or an adult you trust.  If you don't receive the response you want, have after school meetings.  You'll be surprised to learn how many teens are in abusive situations, how many friends you'll make or how any lives you may save.

As a college teen, what can I do to help?

Form a chapter of 'ending teen violence', a part of The Lisa M. Tyler Memorial Scholarship Fund & endingteenviolence.com.  Have regular meetings, fundraisers, help other teens in need.  You must contact our organization for details before beginning your own chapter.  Contact info:
notthemaid64@yahoo.com.  Leave mailing info so paperwork with declaration of trust and bylaws can be sent to you.
